About EDAT
We started this business as a we had been working for so many small and large business helping them grow. We have been left with no work on little or no notice. With so much uncertainty in the market, it was so easy to be left without work.
Not all small business can afford to keep staff employed, and there are a large portion of the community (mostly women) who aren’t able to work full time.
Our solution – “Don’t put all your eggs in to one basket.” Why work for one business when you can for many?
EDAT is a Hebrew word that means community and service.
OUR STORY
We are mum’s and members of our local community who want to contribute and get back to work again.
With our flexibility we can work for as little as one hour, meaning even very small businesses can access admin staff at a reasonable rate.
With multiple client’s this work can be viable to create an income again.
All those skills are not longer going to waste.
WHY WE WANT TO HELP PEOPLE
It’s hard to return to work after having children, being injured, or being told you are too old for the position. These people still have so much to give. We want to be able to help them to get back to workforce, and start their own business and perhaps employ others.
THE GOAL OF OUR SITE
Our goal is to help people to find work, especially mum’s, people with disabilities, and those who are being recriminated against for their age. Eventually our goal is for them to start their own business, and maintain their own relationships with the businesses, they work with.
Small business are in need of support at low cost, and low impact to the business.
Our Goal is to connect people looking for work, with the business who need the work done.
